Work Plan
During my time with Swim Neptune I will be the primary coach for the DC Ranch Village Health Club & Spa branch. My mission is to incorporate a training program for athletes of varying ages as well as skill sets. The goals will be to create a fun and educational environment that will build strong relationships between the swimmers and the sport. I will run practices for a total of 4 hours a day Monday through Thursday at the DC Branch. Then on Friday's and Saturday's will coach along side Coach Zemaitis for three hours a day. Meets will vary during each month and weekend hours can range from 5 to 20 hours over a weekend.
Responsibilities
- Plan practices that range from beginner to advanced age group swimmers.
- Teach and correct swimming stroke mechanics.
- Train athletes based on their stroke interests and accomplishments.
- Prepare swimmers to move up levels within Neptune to advance their abilities.
- Encourage, teach, and spread the sport to club members to help build the program.
